The Hurricane Ridge Cowl is one of five patterns in Independent Fabrication, a collection of accessory patterns knit in small-batch yarns. The eBook is available on Ravelry, or you can purchase a print book + eBook bundle here at tightlyknitdesigns.com

If you could turn a (giant) ball of yarn into a wearable hug, this is how you’d do it. Hurricane Ridge works up quickly on chunky yarn and large needles, in an intuitive cable-and-lace pattern that highlights the beautiful hand-dyed colors of Miss Babs’ K2. Designed for the ever-changing weather conditions of the place for which it was named, this is a cowl you can pull up to block the wind, or wear draped around your neck on a warmer day. Hurricane Ridge is worked flat and seamed, so you can adjust the length and fit as you go.
