Kingston Beanie
Kingston Beanie
The Kingston Beanie is one of five patterns in Independent Fabrication, a collection of accessory patterns knit in small-batch yarns. The eBook is available on Ravelry, or you can purchase a print book + eBook bundle here at tightlyknitdesigns.com
Striking rope cables flank wedges of welts in this gansey-inspired beanie, while hidden decreases draw the crown in to its dramatic conclusion. An engaging knit, Kingston craves a high-impact yarn. The silk fibers in Elemental Affects’ Civility Worsted absorb dye differently than Merino, giving the yarn the characteristic sheen that makes each stitch pop and shine, while producing a light, warm fabric. Using an optional tubular cast-on for a polished finished edge, the Kingston Beanie makes for a striking, sophisticated pop of color in your wardrobe all winter long.
